These days color by number books can be found in various forms. You could choose among different fairy tales characters and/or animals, autos and so on and so forth. If your child is in love with Winnie-the-Pooh, then you may find a lot of colour by number games with the heroes of this toon. So prepare ahead of time and make sure that you've got enough distractions for the kids so that the trip will be uneventful in terms of fighting. Siblings don't usually like sharing stuff so you'll need at least two of everything. Two sets of crayons, two sets of coloring books. And it's probably best to make sure that both sets are exactly the same so that they don't get into an argument over the perception that Billy's coloring book is better than Casey's. Both teachers and parents could find the abundance of reinforcement for things that they teach about in terms of the educational coloring pages. Children could also be instructed in terms of knowing the colors, shapes, alphabets, seasonal occasions and even spiritual education to be strengthened in the church or even at home.

The story uses the literary rule of three, expressed in this case as a “contrasting three”, as the third pig’s brick house turns out to be the only one which is adequate to withstand the wolf.
Variations of the tale appeared in Uncle Remus: His Songs and Sayings in 1881. The story also made an appearance in Nights with Uncle Remus in 1883, both by Joel Chandler Harris, in which the pigs were replaced by Brer Rabbit. Andrew Lang included it in The Green Fairy Book, published in 1892, but did not cite his source. In contrast to Jacobs’s version, which left the pigs nameless, Lang’s retelling cast the pigs as Browny, Whitey, and Blacky. It also set itself apart by exploring each pig’s character and detailing interaction between them. The antagonist of this version is a fox, not a wolf. The pigs’ houses are made either of mud, cabbage, or brick. Blacky, the third pig, rescues his brother and sister from the fox’s den after the fox has been defeated.

Coloring pages not only enhance concentration skills, eye-hand coordination, color coordination and various other essential skills, they also give you some time to relax with your child. Moreover, coloring papers are so enjoyable and learning that parents give feedback of increased concentration among their children, better coordination of colors etc. The next time you are in need of an idea to keep kids busy during the day consider introducing them to The Magic Color Page. You will discover kids can keep themselves entertained, out of your hair and you need not worry about their safety. How often do you find people providing this type of activity? Coloring pages are also very popularly showing holiday ideas, pictures, and characters (such as Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny), as well as biblical images, animals, educational themes, storybook themes, scenes in nature, and long retired cartoons. Even rudimentary objects have been changed over into coloring page format, like food, buildings and planes. Occasionally, you'll find official cartoon or TV character sites (such as PBS programs) will make available coloring pages for free to their fans. And there are many other sites that distribute coloring pages of those copyrighted characters. Sounds like dangerous legal ground ...but, surprisingly, I've never heard of any of these sites being prosecuted for copyright infringement. So they'll probably continue to make them available.
